Music Lessons and COVID-19
Hello PMA Parents and Students,
The health and safety of our students is very important to us. That is why we wish to communicate with all our parents about music lessons and COVID-19.
-
Lessons will continue as normal. Our instructors will continue to take common-sense precautions to prevent the spread of disease. These precautions include frequent hand washing and appropriate social distancing during lessons.
-
Students under self-quarantine, or families that have returned from international travel to high-risk countries, will be switched to video lessons via Facetime, Skype, or Duo. Video lessons are an effective alternative for those unable to have in-home lessons. Please contact us if you require video lessons.
-
If a teacher is required to self-quarantine, they will switch to video lessons. We will contact you with instructions should this occur.
Thankfully, we have the technology, resources and flexibility to continue providing music lessons under a variety of circumstances. There may even be an up-side: Students have more time to practice!
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping your student engaged in lessons, as well as providing our teachers with a consistent income for their own homes and families.
If you have any questions, concerns, or need to request video lessons, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Kind Regards,
Roger and Jenn Vermeulen
